Plot continues from Iron Man Annual #15. Tony Stark discovers that someone or something is tampering with Stark Enterprises' combat simulator via the world computer network (aka the internet)! So with help from Abe Zimmer and Philip Grant, Tony sends his consciousness into cyberspace to look for the electronic intruder! Very quickly the golden avenger locates his adversary: Vor/Tex! But unfortunately, the Virtual Organic Turing Experiment has a nasty surprise waiting for him! Meanwhile in China, the Mandarin slowly recovers from his injuries suffered during the Dragon Seed saga.
